Yups! NINE Perazimites made their way to PD for SIBKL YA Camp 2007 (www.redeemedomain.blogspot.com) and it was fantabulous! We had the time of our lives and now missing camp very much. Very happy to say we learnt a lot and laughed lots more coz of twister and taboo. Jun and Nic super funny in taboo and we unofficially declare PM is the champ in twister. Here are some of the pictures from the camp and check out the links to more photos by other blogs. :) *All photos courtesy of official camp photographers. Our own twister and taboo pictures will be posted as soon as I get them from our own members ;)

Edge Conference 2007

Worship session by our very own Ps Daniel Tan and team.

Cell mamak session after the conference

Psalm 86 - A Prayer of David

1 Hear, O Lord, and answer me,
for I am poor and needy.
2 Guard my life, for I am devoted to you.
You are my God; save your servant who trusts in you.
3 Have mercy on me, O Lord,
for I call to you all day long.
4 Bring joy to your servant,
for to you, O Lord, I lift up my soul.
5 You are forgiving and good, O Lord,
abounding in love to all who call to you.
6 Hear my prayer, O Lord;
listen to my cry for mercy.
7 In the day of my trouble I will call to you,
for you will answer me.
8 Among the gods there is none like you, O Lord;
no deeds can compare with yours.
9 All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, O Lord;
they will bring glory to your name.
10 For you are great and do marvelous deeds;
you alone are God.
11 Teach me your way, O Lord, and I will walk in your truth;
give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.
12 I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart;
I will glorify your name forever.
13 For great is your love toward me;
you have delivered me from the depths of the grave.
14 The arrogant are attacking me, O God;
a band of ruthless men seeks my life - men without regard for you.
15 But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God,
slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.
16 Turn to me and have mercy on me;
grant your strength to your servant and save the son of your maidservant.
17 Give me a sign of your goodness, that my enemies may see it and be put to shame,
for you, O Lord, have helped me and comforted me.

My Sharing

Verse 1 to 7 focuses on the person praying or Me. Me gives praise and glory to God, Me asks that God protects and listen to Me cries of mercy. When Me sins, Me asks for forgiveness because God is abounding in love. Me devotes his life fully to God and lays it all bare to God.

Verse 8 to 10 focuses on God. Me praises God for God is powerful. There is no other god but God alone. Me gives glory to God, just like all nations will come and give glory to God. God is glorious for He is great and has done many marvelous deeds.

Verse 11 to 17 focuses on Me wanting to be close to God and to walk in God's footsteps. Me wants to walk in the truth and the light and asks God to teach him. To those who are arrogant, Me asks for strength so the arrogant will see God's love and mercy through Me. When this is so, Me glorifies God's name forever because Me knows God never abandoned him.

For myself, I see it as three phases too. Just like there are three parts to the psalm, there are three parts to my walk with Jesus. Part 1 is the easy one. It is like a newborn child. A baby depends on the mother from birth until some years later (some longer than others, maybe some never end). If there is anything the baby needs, he just cries out for mom. When the baby does something wrong, mom is quick to forgive because he is still young and do not know.

Part 2 is a little more difficult. Praising God through words is easier, praising God through action gets a little more difficult. My first test comes June 28, 2007 as candidate/trainee for Program Manager of the church. Please pray for two other cell members and I as we learn to take on this responsibility. I suddenly feel that I will be under a magnifying glass. Oh gosh!

Part 3, well, not much I can say for the moment. I just know it is not easy for I have already experienced some difficult situations. It is not that I did not encounter difficulties previously, the difference now is I have a compass that never fails to point me in the right direction. The problem is this path almost always seems harder to follow. However, I know I am not alone for the Lord is walking with me.

God bless!

Come to the party with Ps Danny G!

It's Edge Conference!! Yesterday's party was awesome and heart warming. To hear from Ps Danny G about the struggles he have yet still faithfully serving God is tremendous. To see how churches are coming together to serve the community is amazing. He shared how we as people of God can create an atmosphere for the miraculous work of God.

Are you tired of seeing small miracles and healings or none at all? Are you tired of living life lacking or simply just drifting by? Then come to the party tonight! See you there at 8pm tonight and don't be late!

Ten Things God Won't Ask On That Day

01. God won't ask what kind of car you drove. He'll ask how many people you drove who didn't have transportation.

02. God won't ask the square footage of your house. He'll ask how many people you welcomed into your home.

03. God won't ask about the clothes you had in your closet. He'll ask how many you helped to clothe.

04. God won't ask what your highest salary was. He'll ask if you compromised your character to obtain it.

05. God won't ask what your job title was. He'll ask if you performed your job to the best of your ability.

06. God won't ask how many friends you had. He'll ask how many people to whom you were a friend.

07. God won't ask in what neighbourhood you lived. He'll ask how you treated your neighbours.

08. God won't ask about the colour of your skin. He'll ask about the content of your character.

09. God won't ask why it took you so long to seek Salvation. He'll lovingly take you to your mansion in heaven and not to the gates of Hell.

10. God won't have to ask how many people you forwarded this to. He already knows your decision.
