This week we started on the Book of Numbers, following on from Ps Daniel's sermon over the weekend. Here is a popular question- If you had been in the crowd, would Joshua & Caleb have encouraged you, or would you have gone along with the majority? Why?

What does it mean to you to be counted in as one of God’s people today?
i. belong to the local church
ii. committed, not calculative
iii. contented, not complainful
iv. courageous, not a coward
v. Christ-centered, not church-centered

Always there for U!

We are always there for you :) EPCs for EPMs... Thanks to Mae for preparing us a wonderful way of appreciating one another and to write one to each other a note telling them what they see in the cell members and by using their name to spell it out LOUD ... :)
I got Pei Mun and Here is my note to her "Potential El-perazim Intern-leader May U'll Notice-it!
See how surprise Kang Howe is when the names where spell out :)
Nothing sounds better than your name been spell out SWEET...
Cellma lead us into a time of prayers and worship... thanks to Julia for playing the piano.
These are the word that had been shared by Chak le to us during the prayers...

All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:3-10
Thanks to Nick Lee to lead us into the Word sharing. Yeah, from the book of Romans 5:1-5.
What are the 3 experiences we can experience when ‘we have been justified through faith’?
i. vs 1 peace with God Explain what does that mean. (Not enemies with God, not fighting with God)
ii. vs 2 gain access by faith into this grace. Explain what does this mean. (unmerited eternal favor of God, as a child of God.
iii. vs 2 hope of the glory of God. Explain what does this mean. (hope of one day to be transformed into the glorified body in the presence of God)
As usual, we need to spend time praying for one another, how blessed it is to have Brothers praying for one another and Sisters to one another.
:) Sisters were deep in sharing and praying for one another.
Take time to ponder this quotation- “What is in you is revealed when you are ‘squeezed’.”
Fei Lou ship is not to be missed, especially those who have not taken the dinner. God bless the child of God in unity.

One more to think about - "How do you think God’s love and character can be formed in you through your unpleasant experiences or encounters that have harmed or hurt you?"

CLAP CLAP

CLAP CLAP to all our participants in CLAP training :) We did it! Everybody, presenting to you our QUALIFIED CORES and CELL LEADERS... (Nicole is not in the pic) Now you know what CLAP stands for :)

As usual, Ps Victor will gave us questions to refreshed our memories from what we learn from last week training using the ICEBREAKER styles.
Oh... here's the man, Ps Victor.
We were also learned to identify BURN OUT symptoms... especially when we are FIRE UP, we then to focus on the tasks at hands and neglected the BURN OUT signals. As Ps Chew said, we want to fly high and last long. This lesson comes handy to us.
Yes, to pass... first you need to sit for your EXAM!
Lucas, Cheryl & Stef team we given the task to perform Holy Communion the SIB Styles. You were given 10 minutes to prepare, then 10 mins to ROLE PLAY and 5 minutes to show it to the judges for evaluations and comments !
There's no time to lose... all back to the manual..
Mr Liaw act as the Cell Leader to role play in the partaking of the Holy Communion.
Ha, this the invention of Ps Victor, the CELLOMETER... are your BURN YET? :)
We were blessed with 5 judges from 5 different churches to invigilate and give their comments, here Ps Chris Kam from DUMC pray for all the participants.
In parting, Ps Victor gave a this encouraging message for why we do what we are do. Any one interested to sign up for the next CLAP Training?
