NECF Prayer Day 4

Wow... is day 4 already, we started with the prayer as in the NECF booklet. A time for reflections and confession and prayer.
This week we were glad that the New Papa was with us in cell again, the Secret Man :P as well as Tess was in the cell.

Thanks to Don to share with us the study in Hebrew 12... believe it or not... it is so interesting we need to continue the second half next week!

WORD to remember this week

"My son, do not make light of the Lord's discipline,

We are back in cell again

We had to cancel cell last week as Chak Le and me had to stay back in Penang to take care of our father who had been hospitalized and eventually passed away on the 30th July.

We were back on our study- this week MNG was the master to teach us on Hebrew 11. MNG?... Macam Nak Goring-king saja ... haha is our Mathias NG....

"God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect." Hebrew 11:40

All sort of Bible version and Fiko is figuring out which version he was holding... hahaha is the giggle version... i mean Gideon version hhahah

One thing you guys need to admired Don, he work late, come to cell without dinner and waited until cell word end then only he had dinner for the day! Wow... good material for 40 Days Prayer & FASTING!

Yup, the entire El Perazime Cells (Pelangi, Palm Spring & BU) will join the churches in the annual NECF Prayer & Fasting for 40 days starting ... 8th August and end on 16th September 2010. We will be praying for Merdeka Day and end on Malaysia Day!

Cell on 21st July

Another week for the Book of Hebrew :) This week we were on Chapter 10. See all smiling from one cheek to another :P
We had 2 friends came to visit our cell, Here is Jen Nee and Genie (I hope i got the spelling right). Baby Kye Kye was eager to start reading the Bible :)

All ears and serious.... SERIOUS....

Because our teacher was Mr Yew Loong... hehehe

Now you can see Mr Loong's beloved... guess which one!

Thank you for your supports and concerns to us.

It had been a tough week for us especially for Chak le and her sisters to had their beloved father passed away due to illness.

Nevertheless, we were encourage to have the brothers and sisters in Christ to be with us during this period of bereavement.
Thanks to our Senior Ps Chew and Ps Lee Choo to send us the beautiful yellow flower wreath.
Also specially thanks to El-Perazimites for your beautiful wreath in White & Pink which my sister-in-law said "is sweet" :)

HA, July highest attendance to cell :)

So far, this was out July best, praise God, He make all things possible including time off from our busy schedule to attend cell meeting :) That's lots for us to catch up with.
Thanks to Chak Le and Tee Kheng that prepare the laughter for the night and a time to commune with God in worship. Not forgetting our pianist- Jyun. Lots of Bible flipping too :O

Chak le getting everyone to share one thing to thank God for...before passing the time to Chris to lead us into the study of Hebrew 9. We need to be quick to give thanks to God for all the things He had done for us over the week. Is also a good testimony for us too.

God's New Covenant to us!

Ha, the sisters are practising the worship songs and praise for the ladies to lead us in worship and guess what.... they had chosen "HIM".. hahah... yes, they chosen hymns for the worship :P
Well as usual, to spend some time to lighten up :) This week we asked a very simple question... "Pick 3 things you will bring if you are to be send to an far far away island all by yourself"
Best answer so far... "bring another helicopter to return home!" Also glad that some have not forgotten to bring a BIBLE along!

Thanks to the ladies... we had a time for worshiping the Lord, Jesus Christ.

This is the 1st time we had a new GURU, thanks to Don to lead us in the study of Hebrew chapter 8, as usual, Don's vast Bible Knowledge is a blessing to us to know more about the teaching in the Bible.

See i told you... all ears for the lesson!

Thanks to Don who reminded us that We had been given the Holy Spirit to remind us in all teaching and therefore we can have God's new covenant written in our heart. Power!

Ps Wong from SIB-Sarikei visited our cell group this week

Praise God, we just found out that Jyun is a church pianist! All this while when we are desperately looking for a pianist, is just right under our cell NOSES :) Now, Kye Kye can look for piano lesson every wednesday!
This we as mentioned, we had Ps Wong joining us. He is currently doing his 2nd Master in Divinity, his purpose to visit us is to check out the Cell growth in SIB,KL.

As usual, as out guess, Ps Wong had to answer the questions from our cell members :) Each cell member got the opportunity to asked 1 question that they want to know about Ps Wong.

Cellma led us into worship and of course, Jyun was out beloved pianist.

Adrien did a good word session, now all of us know the necessary of Hebrew Chapter 7, the need of Melchizedek order. Ps Wong acknowledged that the facilitator a.k.a Adrien was well prepared and the rest of the cell members are sharing the thoughts freely and good signed of a healthy cell meeting! You guys and gals ROCK.
