We will like to welcome- Yip Chuan for visiting our cell group for the 1st time. In this group we re-capped how significant the BLOOD of the lamb is in the Old Testaments.

In this group, we shared on how significant the Blood of the prefect Lamb (a.k.a Jesus Christ) in the New Testament. This is come key points that we need to know, remember and appreciate from the teaching of Blood of Jesus Christ!

What Has Jesus Done through His Blood sacrifices for us?

STEP 1 – VICTORY OVER THE DEVIL
“Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil
How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.”
— Hebrews 2:14; Hebrews 9:14; Revelation 12:11

STEP 2 – REDEMPTION (Buy Back from Devil’s hands)
“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace.” Ephesians 1:7

STEP 3 – FORGIVENESS OF SINS
“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace.” Ephesians 1:7

STEP 4 – CLEANSING FROM ALL SINS
“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7

STEP 5 – JUSTIFICATION (made righteous)
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him!” Romans 5:8-9

STEP 6 – SANCTIFICATION (to be made holy, set apart to God)
“The high priest carries the blood of animals into the Most Holy Place as a sin offering, but the bodies are burned outside the camp. And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood.” Hebrew 13:11-12

STEP 7 – ACCESS INTO THE PRESENCE OF GOD
“And where these have been forgiven, there is no longer any sacrifice for sin. Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus,” Hebrew 10:19-20

2) Do you notice the power of the Blood of Jesus Christ throughout these 7 steps?

3) If we can understand the significant of the Blood of Jesus as above, will it help us to be able to communicate (a.k.a listen & see) with God better?
