A Testimony of A Miracle Baby

Dear family and friends
I am writing on behalf of the family and would very much like to Thank You all for your prayers on baby Christopher Kit Schill. It truly has been a tremendous blessing and encouragement to us to know that so many people across the world (Malaysia, Australia, Mexico, UK, and US) have been such a great support to Felicia, Mark, Kimmy and Chris during this journey.
Just to give you a brief summary. Christopher Kit Schill was born on the 5th of October 2010 and was diagnosed a few days later with a VSD defect, truncus arteriosus and an interrupted aortic arch. He went through his first Open Heart surgery on the 11th of Oct and a second one on the 29th Nov where both operations were a success. All praises to God!
He has been warded at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin since then and it has been a tiring, painful and at times discouraging for Felicia and family as they had to travel back and forth to the hospital everyday (the hospital is about 30 mins drive from their home) visiting Chris. They wanted to ensure Chris that they would equally provide the same comfort, care, and love to him like any other family would give to their beloved child. They want to make sure that Chris does not miss out on this even though he's in the hospital.
Anyway, about a week ago, on the 8th of Feb, Chris was officially discharged from the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Praise God! After four traumatic months of being in the ICU to the normal children's ward and back to ICU again, Chris was given the green light by the doctors to go home!!!! What a bundle of Joy!
This was after Felicia & Mark had to go through a 24 hour audition where they took care of Chris for 24 hours without any assistance from the nurses or doctors. They were assessed to ensure they were fully fit to manage Chris when he goes home. Now that Chris is finally home, they are going through a transitional period of taking care of him 24/7-feeding him every hourly either for medication or milk and at the same time, giving the same attention and love to Kimmy, their elder daughter. It's been tough and tiring but by God's grace they are managing quite okay. They even have some close friends who are helping to provide food for them, sending Kimmy home from school and taking Kimmy to play with other children. We are all so thankful for that.
The journey has been a roller coaster for the family but we would really like to appreciate you from the bottom of our hearts. Christopher is a miracle boy and he is so blessed with the many support, care and prayers from all of you.
THANK YOU!! Glory to God in the Highest!
God Bless
Aunty Siew Yong, Julia, Joanne,
Felicia, Mark, Kimmie and little Christopher Schill.

Moving to the Next Level - Reaching Beyond

3 things to describe Evangelism,
(i) Saving someone's life...
- If we know the value of life, and we value life, we'll do it.
(ii) Giving something precious...
- We won't just buy something precious to someone we don't love. If we love, we will definitely give something precious.
Do we know the value? Do we value the work of Christ? The Message? The transformation we have had?
If we really love, we will share regardless of what the response we would get. Whether it is accept or reject, it is not about you and me, but God, and Him alone.
We are just a vessel used by Him, we have to open our mouth, it is not about the technique or scripts, but our heart that matters.
People want to hear the gospel, if we don't care to share, they won't know. We have to share because it will bring transformation to life. Let us be bold, be loving and caring enough to share.
Transformation can be beyond our imagination, through conversation and prayers.
(iii) Putting your money at work...
- Evangelism is like investment. Every investment requires return, and every return involves risks. We should invest our time, effort and resources on something of eternal value.
3 things that has eternal value: - God, Word of God and Soul of men.
Luke 19:1-10, is to sum up the reason Christ came to us.
Zaccheus is a short man, chief tax collector, a wealthy man and a sinner.
Today, we have many and same Zaccheus all over. The "lost" of today:- The rejected, the lonely, the cursed and the hopeless.
Evangelism = Transformation, the crucified & risen Jesus is the Lord of the world. And that His death & resurrection transform the world and that transformation in our life.
Begin with love for the people, hearts for the loss. Let us move beyond our comforts and the fear of sharing.
He has called us to be a transformer, we have been transformed to be a transformer, just like Zaccheus (Luke 19:10, ref Exo 22:1, 4, 7; Lev 6:5, Num 5:7)
What is your/ our next level?
Transformation begins with you and I.
(a) Open your heart and my heart.
(b) Seek and pray.
(c) Extend your hand and my hand.

MNG Big Day Celebration

Good, news. Tonight's makan all habis dimakan! Great time to fill the stomach and to fill the heart with fellowship!
Okay, lesson for this week!
To study corporate anointing let’s look at Psalm 133…
Discovery questions:
1. What do you think is the subject matter of this psalm? (v1)
2. What does he say unity among brethren is like? – v2 ( the anointing oil) v3 ( the dew from Mt Hermon)
3. How does the anointing oil flow ? ( v2) What do you think this symbolizes?
From the head (leaders ) to beard (body of believers ) to collar of his robes ( community)
4. What happens when there is unity ? ( v3 – where there is unity the Lord commands a blessing and life that flows outwards )
Understanding Questions:
In this psalm we learn that unity among brothers in Christ is both good and fragrant (v1) like the anointing oil that is poured on Aaron ( we studied this in Ex 30:23 - -30)
5. Why is unity among brethren good? When there is Unity God is able to move in a powerful way – there is a blessedness released that is beyond measure - each person’s gifts and experiences of life is all brought together and when Holy Spirit is there then the combined effect is like the anointing oil poured on Aaron – only this time its not on one person but on a group of believers. Think of all the ingredients used in anointing oil …..
6. Why is unity like a corporate anointing?
Look at Eph 4:11-13 – how many types of ministries are there?
5 – apostles ( bring in government ) , prophets ( bring in correction), teachers ( is like measuring rod to guide), evangelists ( bring in harvest), pastors ( is like a shepherd) …. Each of this gift is like one of the spices used in the anointing oil.
They function well when the Holy Spirit unite them all to flow as one ( see Eph 4: 3-6) When they flow together like the anointing oil mixed together – there is power released and the whole body of believers can now serve effectively and they also reach Christ like maturity.
7. What then prevents the corporate anointing from flowing?
• when we each do our own thing and refuse to function as one body
• when Christians with different gifting operate as individuals rather than as part of body of believers.
• when there is division or no submission
• when we don’t invite the Holy Spirit into our lives as a group and individually
Application:
1. What in our cell will prevent God’s corporate anointing ?
2. Shall we all ask God to unite us so that there is a corporate anointing over us as a cell and as a church. If we want to touch the community we need this corporate anointing.
