DNA NewLife - Week 4

Our weekly update for our NewLife class! Our cell has grown. Look at the number of people! Two were missing in this picture for the night though. They were in the toilet. Waited but they still didn't turn up so we took the pic without them. Aww...

We prayed for the cell and specific people especially Stef! Thank God she's alive and also Angeline for getting engaged, Congrates!

Then as usual... supper! We went to Taman Tun behind the market to Cellpa's favourite mamak apparently. They are famous for roti John. Basically looks like a hotdog done in malay style. Ha! Nevertheless, it looked good.

What are we EXPECTING when we have a cell group named El Perazim?

THE SIB STATEMENT OF FAITH

WE BELIEVE... in the one true God who exists in three Persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

WE BELIEVE... in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, who among His various ministries regenerates sanctifies, guides and empowers through His gifts to all believers.

WE BELIEVE... that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and that it is our guide for faith and practice.

WE BELIEVE... that all men and women are sinners and can only be justified by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

WE BELIEVE... Jesus Christ.
(1 Cor 12:12-13)

WE BELIEVE... in the resurrection of all men and women to a final judgment, eternal blessing for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.
(Matt 25:31-46)

We envision SIB (KL) to be a strong, excellent and dynamic church where our lives will influence others to be seekers of god, inspired to serve and building people.

We envision SIB to be a strong, dynamic and excellent church where our lives will be Inspired by God to Influencing the nations, Impacting generations.Our second core focus is to build people to lead a Christ-centred life and to lead other people towards Christ through a culture of : Excellence, Encouragement, Empowerment, Example , Enthusiam and Evangelism. To this end, we are firmly a cell church where weekly fellowship meetings are conducted with small ‘cell’ groups to strengthen members to the Word of God.
