IPOH MALI! Day 2!

And here we are Day 2! We were woken up by some weird announcement regarding a fogging session but what got us out of our bed was the fogging itself. hehe Here's a pic from our room of the nicely fogged compound. Cannot see any mozzies leh... We called Evon and picked her up for lunchie!

The trip has begun! The road to Evon's place. See the mountain and hill? See the greens? Where in the world can you find that in KL? Such a sight for sore eyes.

We headed to New Town Ipoh for lunch for some Sui Yee soup. Yups, Terappin soup. Then Ipoh's famous Egg Tea. It's basically egg in tea! Ya.. normal egg in tea.

Soon Yen joined us from Cameron for lunch. Yum yum!

Evon, me and Stef posing with our lunch.

Evon: Want some tissue to wipe off that Sui Yee soup? Stef's po po enjoying her lunch too.

Just after that, Cellpa and Cellma join us for a round of shopping!

Cellma trying on some clothes. Cannot take full shot but this dress really made her look Korean. So not her style but it's really cute!

Evon so glamour!

After that we headed off to New Town for some White Coffee. Our destination was closed so we headed to the next best thing. The uncle waiter was a bit chiun though. No food, just drinks hehe

Just opposite us is supposedly the once tallest building in Ipoh. Some people actually jumped off this building to the point they had to seal the balcony of every floor so no one else will jump.

Next we headed to another kopitiam to eat Ipoh Hor Fun and Popiah. The hor Fun not bad... the service a bit weird because they kept taking away our plates and waited for us to finish our drink so they can close shop. :/

So we headed back to Stef's popo's place where she showed us her baby photos.

Posing outside Stef's popo's place before we headed off for a walk.

Later that night we headed over to Evon's place to visit her mom. Cellpa asked us to pose pose a bit.

We were looking through some China trip Evon's parents went to.

Evon and her mom! Look alike or not?

Here we are having our dinner!

Some of the dishes we had for our dinner. This of course if only one of the stops we had. The fish ball noodle is nice.

This was our next dinner stop. OK more like supper. We came here for one thing only. The Lai Liu Har! Don't ask me how to say that in English. Ipoh people sure know how to eat. The place was packed!

After this we headed for Pasar Malam and 7Eleven before heading to Stef's parent's place for a while. After that we konked out for the next day!
